The pretty local ski resort of La Jarjatte is open every winter from mid December to mid March depending on snow conditions. It is an ideal resort for families and beginners as it offers 7 runs that snake down the mountainside between the trees. The setting is breathtaking.

For those who are a little more adventurous there are around 20 ski resorts of varying sizes under 2 hours drive from Lus, including Chamrousse to the north and Superdévoluy to the southeast. Many of the resorts are relatively undiscovered and used mainly by locals. By using Lus as a base you can ski a different resort every day.
