Hiking [Randonnée pédestre]
National hiking routes GR93 and GR94 are within easy reach, along with other local paths, details of which can be obtained from the tourist offices in Lus la Croix Haute and Veynes. IGN Cartes de Randonnée 3237OT, 3338OT,3337OT are the maps to cover the local area. There is also a customised IGN map with Lus at the centre, available from the tourist office.
Mountain biking [Cyclotourisme / VTT]
Bikes can be hired in Lus la Croix Haute and there are many good marked tracks (VTT) in the area. There are also organised biking activities for all the family.

Climbing [Escalade]
There is an abundance of sport and traditional climbing sites in the surrounding area.
Via Ferrata is Italian for "iron road" where climbing routes have fixed cables and rungs mounted into the rock face to provide foot/hand holds, a special harness is worn for safety.
La Berche: An itinerary of rambling and climbing with some athletic routes which can be avoided if you prefer. A route of about 3 hours in duration, 650m long with 300m difference in altitude, difficulty AD to D.

Equipment hire from La Condamine campsite, by reservation, every day except Monday from January to October. Half day €9, full day €16, €150 deposit. 10% reduction for groups of 10 or more. Min age 8 years.

An exciting activity where all the family get to explore the ski slopes on bikes and scooters, designed specially to use the drag lifts to reach the top then let gravity take over! Tandem bikes allow younger children to ride with an adult.
